Might aswell start somewhere

Well a blog has to start somewhere. So what am i going to be doing over the next few weeks. Well with some luck i should be in Dorset by the weekend if all goes to plan if not i have a backup plan which involved me heading to Hampshire instead and with any luck i might get down to the New Forest and try and get some pictures of the Redstarts that are currently there and also some Goshawks and other birds of prey.

I may also have a look down the river test on some known otter spots to see if i can grab a photograph of an otter, something i have yet managed to do on the test. They are there though i have seen them but never with the camera on me. Sods law i guess.

In the near future i will be heading back down to my local reserve to try and get some shots of the summer migrants and also a few of locals including my old favourite the Little Egret.
